As a Sr. Solutions Engineer, P artner focus is a strategic position whose primary goal is to expand SentinelOne’s technical sales force through activities focused on knowledge transfer, evangelism, and behind-the-scenes facilitation of technical partners. The role requires diverse activities, an appreciation of business and technology components, as well as subject matter expertise on security, endpoint technology, and the evolution of the landscape that drives prospects to channel partners. Additionally, it is important in the role that the person understands partners' business model, identifies how we can add value to that solution and works with the partner to execute. What will you do? Primary responsibilities include: Three main facets within the partner community. Relationship management Technical enablement Tech Marketing/sales activities Visit local/regional partner offices with regular cadence Attend and coordinate offsite social events with partners Attend internal sales and sales engineering calls Facilitate meetings with SentinelOne field and SMB sales and sales engineers and partner resources Support sales cycle of SentinelOne products to new partner prospects through demos, POCs, etc. Introduce partner sales and technologists to technology Deliver roadmap and product updates Train for demos, proof-of-concepts (POC), and deployment/service delivery Provide regular market updates including competitive intelligence Set up regular best practices and how to sessions Enable partners to develop, launch and support S1 based Solutions What skills and knowledge should you bring? Ideal candidates will have: Fluency in English is required. 3 to 6 years of experience in pre-sales within the cybersecurity industry Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences Use concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with both executives and technical audiences Team-focused approach and positive attitude are a must Experience working in the field of computer forensics, security architect, penetration/red teamer, or incident responder is a plus High level of technically savvy, passionate to learn and use new/emerging technologies (Endpoint, Mobile & Cloud) Excellent presentation skills, able to coordinate and facilitate security workshops/demos to technical members Strong ability to communicate with CxO-level, technical, and non-technical team members Must work well independently / and with others as part of a larger EMEA team Why SentinelOne? If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
