Overview We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our software development team. This role sits between the Associate Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer levels, requiring a solid foundation in software engineering principles along with practical experience delivering production-ready applications. The successful candidate will develop and maintain web applications using React for the front-end, .NET C# Web API for the back-end, and SQL for database management. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and technical best practices. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, .NET C# Web API, and SQL. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices. Develop and optimize database queries and contribute to database design and performance improvements. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and application issues. Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and development processes. Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Develop reusable components and shared functionality to improve development efficiency. Support application performance, scalability, and security initiatives. Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver software features and projects with limited supervision. Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and development frameworks. Experience contributing to technical discussions, solution design, and code reviews. Qualifications and Experience Education From an accredited college or university in the related field of: Required/Preferred Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Required Experience In the field of: Required/Preferred 3-5 Years professional software development experience in a commercial environment. Required 2-4 Years Strong proficiency in .NET C#, ASP.NET Core/Web API, React, and SQL. Required 2-4 Years Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development concepts. Required 1-3 Years Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Required 2-4 Years Strong understanding of Object-oriented programming, Design patterns, Source control (Git), Software development lifecycle (SDLC), Data structures and algorithms, Relational database design and normalization Required 1-3 Years Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex application issues. Required 1-3 Years Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Required 2-4 Years Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices. Required 2-4 Years Ability to analyze requirements and develop scalable, maintainable solutions. Required 2-4 Years Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Required 1-3 Years Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Required 1-3 Years Exposure to cloud-based environments and deployment practices. Preferred 1-3 Years Experience with Python or other programming languages. Preferred 1-3 Years Experience developing reusable component libraries or shared frameworks.
