As a Commercial Solutions Engineer, you will work with commercial prospects and customers across Eastern Europe, aligning their goals and requirements with SentinelOne's offerings across prevention, XDR, and threat hunting. You will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives, partnering closely with the sales team to design and propose security solutions that address the unique challenges of our customers. What Will You Do? Primary responsibilities include: Work closely with our sales team to design and propose security solutions that meet the unique needs of commercial customers across Eastern Europe, applying technical and commercial expertise to address diverse cybersecurity challenges and creatively resolve issues. Lead the Proof of Concept lifecycle from delivering demos through to technical closing, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and provide first and second-level technical support throughout the sales cycle. Develop and showcase a deep understanding of SentinelOne's products and solutions, aligning technical capabilities with customer needs and pain points, and deliver engaging security workshops and demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences. Collaborate with the channel, covering partner networks and engaging with selected enterprise customers, while providing valuable feedback to product management on product features and market trends. Demonstrate objection handling and competitive positioning skills across a range of customer engagements, communicating effectively with CxO-level, technical, and non-technical stakeholders as part of the broader EMEA team. What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring? Ideal candidates will have: Fluency in English, with 3 to 6 years of experience in pre-sales within the cybersecurity industry and a proven track record of successfully selling to large customers and managing complex, competitive sales cycles. Strong technical depth across endpoint security, XDR, and threat hunting, with good knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, and notable malware and anti-malware solutions. Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with executives and technical practitioners alike. A team-focused approach, positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger EMEA team, with a high level of technical curiosity and a passion for emerging technologies across endpoint, mobile, and cloud. Experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing, red teaming, or incident response is a plus. Why SentinelOne? That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
