As a Commercial SE Intern, you'll support our Solutions Engineering team primarily on proof-of-concepts (POCs) and product demonstrations, while also helping develop customer-facing materials that document the value we deliver and the problems we solve for customers. You'll get hands-on exposure to webinars, customer enablement sessions, and automation initiatives that reduce manual work for the team — all while working closely with an experienced Commercial Solutions Engineer. What Will You Do? Primary responsibilities include : Support a Commercial Solutions Engineer on proof-of-concepts (POCs) and product demonstrations, gaining hands-on exposure to the technical side of the sales process Help the sales and solutions teams understand customer needs and technical requirements, and assist in building proposals for tailored solutions that address specific challenges or objectives Assist in creating customer-facing documentation and value materials that clearly communicate how our solutions solve customer problems Support the planning and delivery of webinars and customer enablement sessions Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual work for the team Develop and showcase a growing understanding of our products and solutions, aligning technical concepts with customer needs and pain points Learn about the rapidly changing cybersecurity landscape, competitive products, and the SentinelOne Singularity platform What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring? Ideal candidates will have: A basic understanding of technical aspects of cybersecurity, and a demonstrated interest in areas such as malware prevention, data loss prevention, network security, cloud security, identity security, forensics and incident response, threat hunting, and security operations and intelligence Currently working towards a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field An interest in working with customers, along with the ability to demonstrate leadership skills A proven ability to learn new technology quickly, adapt to changing needs, and strong analytical skills Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python) is a plus The ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, deliver engaging presentations, and write clear, persuasive proposals and documentation Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced and sometimes uncertain environments Overall, successful candidates possess a unique blend of technical curiosity, communication skills, customer focus, and a drive to bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer needs Why SentinelOne? If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
