About Wunderkind: Wunderkind ads are 'behaviorally triggered', meaning that ads are served on a premium list of publishers only when a user is done consuming content. Our proprietary tag is integrated directly on the publisher page to track on-site user behavior - making ' net new' ad placements. How we serve the ad is why we are different from our competitors in-market. Rather than placing an ad in front of someone while they're actively trying to read content, our technology patiently waits until a visitor has stopped reading before rendering our ad on the page. And that patience pays off -- it turns out that when an ad experience respects the user's reason for visiting a page, the user respects the ad experience in return. This unique, brand safe approach to ad experience gives an advertiser's message more attention and greater engagement. About the Role: Wunderkind is looking for a top-performing Director of Programmatic Sales to spearhead our expansion of the Publicis Account. We are looking for a true proactive hunter who can secure brand new buyers and drive demand for our display and video ad inventory from the ground up. You will be responsible for penetrating new accounts across agencies, trading desks, and brands, ensuring that Wunderkind becomes a non-negotiable part of their programmatic strategy. As a Programmatic Sales Director, you will be the primary driver of new business, fundamentally changing how new clients perceive and utilize our high-impact, non-intrusive ad inventory. Your success will be measured by your ability to open new doors and establish first-time partnerships that contribute to the explosive, strategic growth of Wunderkind in the programmatic space. In this role, you will focus almost exclusively on high-growth acquisition activities. While you will collaborate with account management teams for execution, your mission is to be in the market, identifying untapped demand and securing new revenue streams from a specified list of agency, trading desk, brand, and DSP accounts. Key Responsibilities Will Include: Prospect and secure new programmatic demand from agencies and advertisers across your territory. Lead the full sales cycle for new buyers, from initial outreach and education to contract execution and first-campaign launch. Build and scale a robust network of first-time decision makers in the programmatic buying cycle, including in-house marketers and trading desks. Develop and execute sophisticated sales strategies specifically designed to displace competitors and capture new market share. Educate the market on Wunderkind's unique value proposition to overcome barriers to entry with new clients. Act as a strategic liaison between the market and internal teams to ensure product evolution aligns with the needs of emerging buyers. Work hand-in-hand with Account Managers to transition newly secured buyers for long-term service while you remain focused on the next acquisition. About You The ideal candidate is a well-connected, resilient, experienced leader with an unyielding "hunter" mindset and a passion for winning new business. Most importantly, you will exhibit the following traits: Tenacious and resourceful approach to prospecting, with a proven ability to open doors at high-value, untapped accounts. Persuasive and compelling communication style, capable of articulating complex value propositions to senior-level stakeholders. Entrepreneurial spirit with a deep passion for the marketing technology space and a healthy dose of humility. A collaborative yet commercial mindset, intensely focused on driving revenue through new buyer acquisition. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of total relevant experience in online programmatic advertising sales is required. At least 5 years of this experience must be specifically growing your own book of programmatic business, against a quota, in an agency or vendor setting. Though not essential, experience of ‘starting from scratch’ (new territories, new book of business) is highly desirable Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong connections across the industry with prospective clients, particularly within the Publicis account. A robust, active network of buy-side contacts with whom you have built rapport and trust through successful new business wins. Proven track record of delivering on team and individual revenue targets through the acquisition of large, strategic new clients. Expertise in selling complex CPA, CPC, and CPM marketing campaigns to new buyers. Deep technical knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, ad exchanges, and ad servers. BA/BS degree in a numeric, technical, or commercial field. The target overall compensation range for this role is $280,000.00 to $300,000.00, base plus commission, split 50/50. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.
Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.
The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.
Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
