Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist – Orthopaedics Location: Devon Contract: Temporary/Locum Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their MSK & OT Inpatients Department at Northern Devon District Hospital. This role focuses on providing specialist occupational therapy interventions for patients within orthopaedics , supporting recovery and facilitating safe discharges. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for patients with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. Complete functional assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans. Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team. Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice. Requirements: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience in orthopaedics and MSK inpatient care . Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload. Why Join Our Client?
