Summary Guardsquare is looking for Software Engineering Team Leads to join us in our Leuven office and lead one of our Leuven based C++/LLVM or Java teams. In this role you will be responsible for a team of about 5 to 7 C++ or Java software engineers working within an agile software development environment. The ideal candidate started their career technically and has a good understanding of software engineering within a high-tech start/scale-up, and grew into or is now ready for a team lead role. Your key responsibilities will be: Own the results delivered by your team. You lead day-to-day development; assign tasks, track progress, ensure timely delivery and high quality. Mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and motivate the team to reach company and personal objectives. Set coding standards and best practices for maintainable solutions. Work with product teams to translate business needs into technical specifications. Implement and enforce testing practices to deliver reliable software. Encourage new ideas and own engineering processes to drive continuous improvement. Represent Guardsquare’s R&D values, its products and its culture.
