Modern Animal, Inc. seeks Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations for its Culver City, CA office. Plan, direct, and coordinate the strategy, systems design, and operational execution to deliver care, scale efficiencies, and improve members’ experience. Formulate policies and continuously improve omnichannel strategy and workflow, such as prescriptions, diagnostics, routing/triage, asynchronous care, etc., to ensure they are simple, scalable, and member-centered. Map, diagnose, and redesign end-to-end workflows across Virtual Care, clinics, and products to identify bottlenecks and align stakeholders around solutions. Act as the operational link between Product/Engineering and care teams to ensure new features and application launches integrate seamlessly into Modern Animal's omnichannel model. Manage the process of labor forecasting and hours planning across Virtual Care and in-clinic operations. Build, maintain, and evolve the forecasting models that guide staffing decisions, labor efficiency, and cross-channel demand management. Partner with Finance and Clinic Operations to assess tradeoffs, support decision-making, and improve cost structure. Lead the analysis and strategy development for monetizing Virtual Care and expanding Modern Animal’s TAM (Total Addressable Market). Evaluate and operationalize new business lines, pricing strategies, and revenue expansion opportunities. Manage and organize cross-functional launches of new products, workflows, and omnichannel initiatives from concept through execution. Supervise the Strategy and Operations team to improve the clinic’s business strategies and operations. Employee may work from home and can be based anywhere in the U.S. Travel approx. 10% of the time to unanticipated client sites and the company’s headquarters in the U.S. for meetings and training. Requires Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Administration, Management Studies, or related. Must have 36 months of experience in an occupation related to Business Management, Operations, and Strategy Consulting. Experience must include 36 months in/with the following: Business Process Optimization including operations strategy and efficiency improvement; Statistical Data Analysis; Time, Risk, and Financial Management; Product Market Segmentation including business landscape, market trends, and competitive environment; Staff Management including employee performance optimization and strategic alignment; and GTM (Go-To-Market) Operations and Planning. 40 hours/week. $170,000 - $175,000/year.
