Overview At Esri, our Inside Sales team leads play a crucial role in driving the adoption of ArcGIS worldwide. We are seeking individuals who possess exceptional coaching and team-building skills, along with an understanding of geospatial technology and sales experience in the private and public sectors. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing strategies that revolutionize the way our customers tackle complex business problems. Through the power of geoanalysis, you will lead teams that help our customers and global distributors uncover unique patterns, identify trends, and discover hidden solutions. Responsibilities Empower your team. Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the Inside Sales Team which includes a high volume of inbound calls and customer outreach. Mentor your sales team through active coaching, clear direction, and regular feedback to close business while providing a positive customer experience. Drive alignment of team goals to those of the larger GBD organizational goals. Build relationships. Establish internal contacts to help enhance customer engagement and success. Build trust and rapport with direct customers, sales leaders, account teams, relevant partners, and global distributors. Understand our customers. Demonstrate industry knowledge of the public and private sector and its relevance to the application of GIS. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for an organization. Understand customer needs through active listening and provide guidance on appropriate solutions to team members. Use whiteboard sessions to support visual storytelling. Be an expert. Clearly articulate the strength and value of Esri technology as it relates to various industries. Pursue professional leadership and personal development to ensure competitive knowledge. Support and encourage your team in their own professional and personal development. Deliver results. Effectively coach the lead management and sales processes for all opportunities. Establish revenue generating time-driven goals and targets for yourself and your team that are attainable and realistic with clear indicators. Support team operations and customer engagements as needed. Requirements 5+ years of technology sales experience, preferably within Inside Sales 1+ year of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of GIS and Esri technology and how they can apply to various industries as they relate to one another Effectively identify and solve customer problems using a data driven approach. Define appropriate path forward using sound judgement and consideration of relevant factors. Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of industries and new technology trends. Knowledge of FLSA requirements and company expectations for role. Ability to travel domestically up to 50% Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
