THE MISSION We are looking for a 6 months Legal Counsel Intern . Inside the Legal Department, your role will be providing support to the Team regarding the legal aspects of the business, the internal processes of the Company and the Group, with a focus on regulatory matters and complaint handling. This role is based in Milan where we will expect to see you at the office three days per week, as per our smartworking policy. YOU WILL : Assist the Complaint Handling Function in reviewing and preparing responses to customer complaints, both through internal procedures and in proceedings before the Italian Banking and Financial Ombudsman (ABF), under the supervision of the Complaints Officer. Support the Legal Team with the day-to-day legal affairs of the Company and the Group, with a particular focus on payment services, consumer credit, consumer protection, contract law and other relevant legislation. The support will include: Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements; Drafting internal legal memoranda and analysis; Legal research on case law and scholar’s papers; Collaborate with cross-functional teams by collecting information, supporting legal reviews and helping implement internal legal guidelines and best practices. YOU MUST : Have an Italian Law Degree (or equivalent) Be fluent both in Italian and English (C1-C2) You have high attention to detail and strong organizational skills YOU'LL BE GREAT FOR THE ROLE IF : You speak any additional language such as French or Spanish You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or the Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) OUR COMPENSATION PACKAGE : All our internships are compensated 800€/month + buonipasto OUR SELECTION PROCESS Initial Chat: A brief conversation with our Talent Acquisition Team. Case Study: A skills-based test with a debriefing session involving key stakeholders, conducted in our Milan office or online.
