What You Will Do As the Team Lead for Sales, you will lead a dynamic team of account managers responsible for growing our existing customer base and driving new revenue opportunities across diverse industries in the DACH region. You’ll be accountable for the team’s commercial performance and development, combining rigorous sales management with hands-on coaching on account strategy, stakeholder management, and deal execution. Your leadership will directly impact the growth and success of think-cell in this critical region. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 7 account managers, owning performance reviews, hiring, and performance management while providing frequent, direct feedback to drive sales performance and professional growth. Own the team’s commercial performance across the DACH region, driving renewals, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base. Drive sales results through data-driven prioritization, robust forecasting, and clear performance metrics, ensuring the team focuses on the accounts and opportunities with the highest impact. Coach account managers on account strategy, stakeholder mapping, opportunity qualification, and executive-level customer engagement to build deeper, multi-threaded relationships. Coach and support the team through complex negotiations and strategic deals, helping account managers improve commercial judgment and deal execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success, revenue operations) to remove barriers to sales execution and identify growth opportunities. Drive strong CRM, pipeline, and forecasting discipline, ensuring opportunities, risks, and next steps are visible and actionable. Provide regular insights on sales progress, forecast, team performance, and key opportunities or risks to senior leadership. Build a high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability, identifying performance gaps early and translating them into focused coaching and development plans. Translate new products and commercial initiatives into effective sales motions, adapting coaching and execution based on market and customer feedback. You will be great for this position if you have 7+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within enterprise software or product-led growth organizations. 3+ years of experience managing and developing sales teams, including formal performance management responsibilities. Proven track record as a successful B2B seller before moving into leadership, with experience managing complex enterprise accounts, driving expansion revenue, and applying strong commercial judgment. Demonstrated ability to improve seller performance through coaching, direct feedback, and strong commercial judgment. Experience in consulting, financial services, or professional services is a plus. Fluent in English and German. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint. Highly adaptable and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintain high standards of accountability. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and give clear, actionable feedback.
