Mi-Tech Services, Inc. has an opening for a full-time on-site Environmental Inspector at a project site in Ozaukee County (SE Wisconsin). An Environmental Technician is responsible for supporting environmental compliance and monitoring efforts related to groundwater, storm water, landfills and other natural resources. Critical for success is the ability to be self-motivated, a good problem solver, detail-oriented, follow pre-established guidelines and instructions, and work independently to meet strict deadlines. An Environmental Inspector will maintain and promote a strong health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) culture for all employees, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to comply with HSEQ policies, procedures, regulations, and continual improvement objectives. Able to walk at least 1/2 mile and work in all weather conditions Experience working around and on a construction site preferred 40-hour HazWoper certification, or the ability to obtain. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team.
