Job Description At PayPay Card, we prioritize product quality to provide a seamless, safe, and secure financial experience to millions of users. We are seeking a full-stack QA engineer who can perform both manual and automated testing in the role of SDET. This position requires an individual who is strong in automating backend services, APIs, and microservices, while also being flexible in manual testing such as exploratory testing and usability verification.You will contribute to improving the quality of the entire PayPay Card system by formulating quality strategies, improving QA processes, and mentoring the team. Main Responsibilities Automated Testing Design, develop, and operate test automation frameworks for batch processing, backend services, APIs (REST/gRPC), and microservices Build automated regression and functional test suites Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Gradle) Verify distributed architectures using mock/stub strategies Promote modernization of test strategies for legacy systems (e.g., CORBA) Implement logging, debugging, and reporting (Allure, SLF4J, etc.) Manual Testing Plan, design, execute, and sign-off tests for complex functions in the credit card lifecycle Detect usability and functional defects through exploratory testing Ensure and improve quality through specification reviews and quality improvement activities Promote quality improvements in collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers Process Improvement / Collaboration Standardizing QA best practices and expanding them throughout the organization Proposing the introduction of new QA tools and frameworks Mentoring and guidance for junior QA engineers Analyzing defects and production issues, identifying root causes, and developing preventative measures Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in QA or test automation Development/automation skills in object-oriented languages, primarily Java Experience with backend/API automation (REST Assured, gRPC, etc.) Experience using test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and AssertJ Experience using CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Gradle, etc.) Experience using mocking frameworks such as Mockito Experience with automation using scripting languages ​​(Python, Shell, etc.) Deep understanding of QA processes, test planning and design methods, and bug management processes Experience working in an agile development environment ※Please note that you will have a coding challenge during the QA selection process.
