Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company powering the acceleration of clinical research to transform patient outcomes. We built a leading performance-driven network of 100+ sites across the US, Europe, India, and Australia, conducting research directly in the communities where care is delivered across gastrointestinal, hepatology, obesity, and cardiology. By combining deep clinical trial expertise with cutting-edge AI, we connect sponsors' scientific ambitions with high-performing research teams that expedite and expand access to novel therapeutics for patients in need. Today, Iterative Health is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City with 250+ employees world-wide. As a Senior Product Manager at Iterative Health, you'll own a strategic portion of our product roadmap, leading initiatives across patient pre-screening, enrollment, and clinical site operations. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, clinical operations, and customers to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses through data, and deliver products that solve meaningful, real-world challenges for research sites and the patients they serve. Success in this role requires equal parts product thinking, analytical rigor, and customer empathy. The strongest candidates are naturally curious and thrive in ambiguity—comfortable spending time with clinical research coordinators and site teams, uncovering operational pain points, translating those insights into scalable product solutions, and using data to make informed decisions while navigating the regulatory and operational complexities of clinical research. Where You'll Drive Impact Own initiatives end-to-end: frame the problem, define what success looks like, drive discovery, scope and sequence the work, and see it through to a shipped, measurable outcome. Own the roadmap for your function — set the direction, make prioritization calls, and be accountable for what it delivers. Work closely with product leadership to ensure your work fits the larger picture and contributes to IH's platform strategy. Work directly with operational and patient data: query, interpret, and pressure-test findings to size opportunities, define the metrics that matter, and confirm whether what you shipped actually moved them. Bring quantitative rigor to every product decision — distinguishing meaningful results from merely interesting ones. Bring signal back to the broader product organization: what you're learning in the field, where the data points, and which capabilities to bet on next. Work closely with the people the work serves — site staff, study sponsors, and clinical leaders — to understand their reality and build with it in mind. Partner with Engineering and Data Science as a credible peer who can engage on technical tradeoffs directly. Ground every product decision in a real understanding of clinical trial operations and the regulatory constraints that shape what's possible. Lead publications and help build Iterative Health's scientific profile — turning the work and the data behind it into credibility with sponsors, sites, and the broader research community. Treat compliance and governance (HIPAA, GxP, sponsor data agreements) as a core design input from the start, not an afterthought. Travel occasionally to sites and business unit locations as needed (estimated Perform related duties as requested What You'll Bring 6+ years of product management experience or equivalent, with a track record of leading initiatives end-to-end — from ambiguous problem through shipped, measured outcome. Working knowledge of clinical trial operations and the regulatory requirements that govern them (GCP/ICH, FDA/EMA, patient data privacy) — this is a requirement, not a nice-to-have. Hands-on comfort with data: ability to independently query, interpret, and reason about operational and patient data to frame problems and measure results; SQL fluency or equivalent expected. Strong quantitative instincts and the judgment to distinguish a meaningful result from a merely interesting one. Demonstrated ability to work as a peer with engineers and data scientists, and to be equally effective with non-technical clinical and operational stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication; a structured thinker who can move between a deep technical conversation and a clinical workflow conversation in the same hour. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment without waiting for permission or a perfect spec. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience in clinical research, life sciences, or another regulated healthcare domain. Familiarity with EMR and CTMS systems and healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, OMOP). Experience shipping AI- or ML-powered product capabilities, with good judgment about where they fit and where they don't. Experience at a growth-stage startup. A track record of working with messy, real-world clinical data and making it useful without pretending it's clean.
