Experience without limits—in your work, your growth, and your impact. must be able to work hybrid in a Jack NY or Detroit office Position Summary The People Experience Specialist plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role owns the execution and continuous improvement of People processes from onboarding through offboarding, including employee data management, job changes, leave administration, and employee support. This is an ideal opportunity for an early career HR professional who is passionate about creating better employee experiences, improving processes, leveraging technology, and using data to drive decisions. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, naturally curious, and comfortable challenging the status quo to identify smarter, more efficient ways of working. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across a global organization. The People Experience Specialist will actively explore opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance the employee experience. What You Will Do Employee Lifecycle Management Own and execute employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through offboarding, including transfers, promotions, organizational changes, leaves of absence, and terminations Ensure employee transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and local requirements Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding People processes, policies, and programs Maintain employee records and documentation with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail Coordinate leave of absence administration and employee status changes in partnership with managers, payroll, benefits, and external vendors as needed Support a positive employee experience by ensuring People processes are clear, efficient, and employee-focused Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement Evaluate existing People processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and employee experience Question traditional approaches and recommend innovative solutions that simplify work and create better outcomes Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to create scalable and sustainable ways of working Partner with People team members to identify opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate unnecessary manual work Participate in People projects and initiatives focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement People Technology and Innovation Maintain and support People systems by ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, and up to date Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, AI, and self-service tools to improve efficiency and employee experience Assist with system enhancements, testing, implementation activities, and process improvements Support data audits and governance activities to maintain data quality and integrity Stay informed on emerging HR technology trends and recommend practical solutions to improve the way work gets done Data, Reporting, and Insights Generate recurring and ad hoc People reports and dashboards Analyze People data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Support reporting related to headcount, turnover, employee movements, leave administration, compliance, and engagement Apply analytical thinking and sound judgment to identify issues and recommend solutions Collaboration and Global Mindset Build strong partnerships across the People team, including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Learning & Development Collaborate effectively across regions and cultures, balancing global consistency with local requirements Contribute to global People initiatives and organizational projects Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach to work Ownership and Accountability Take ownership for delivering quality outcomes and a positive employee experience Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and follow-through Balance speed, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Proactively identify issues, solve problems, and drive work forward with minimal supervision Who Will Thrive Here You are likely to thrive in this role if you: Are naturally curious and constantly look for better ways of doing things Enjoy solving problems and improving processes Have strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective Are energized by technology, data, and innovation Are comfortable challenging the status quo and bringing forward new ideas Take initiative and proactively identify opportunities for improvement Enjoy working collaboratively with people across different functions and locations Think globally and appreciate diverse perspectives and ways of working Want to build a career in People Business Partner, People Experience, People Operations, or HR Technology Are excited about the role AI and automation will play in the future of HR What You Bring 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, HR Administration, Employee Experience, or a related field preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Experience supporting employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employee changes, leave administration, and offboarding preferred Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Comfort working with data, reporting, spreadsheets, and systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently Interest in process improvement, technology, automation, and AI Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with HR systems is a plus Experience across US states and Canada preferred #LI-SC1 We make our careers website accessible to any and all users.
