About Us Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. We ignite the passions of global sports fans and maximize the presence and reach for our hundreds of sports partners globally by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming, allowing sports fans to Buy, Collect, and Bet. Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally. About the Team Every time a fan places a bet, earns a reward, or checks out on Fanatics — Fanatics Core made that possible. We build the shared foundations — identity, payments, loyalty, wallet, data, and platform — that power sports betting, ecommerce, collectibles, and beyond. We supercharge the business by providing products and capabilities so that teams can focus on what matters most: building delightful experiences for the fans. Fanatics is uniquely positioned at the intersection of sports commerce, betting, and collectibles, and Fanatics ONE is the loyalty and identity program that ties it all together. As part of the Loyalty SDK team at Fanatics, we build the technology that powers how fans see and interact with FanCash across the entire company. Our SDKs and services sit at the heart of the customer journey, enabling every brand and product team to deliver consistent and seamless loyalty experiences. Overview As a Staff Engineer on our Partnerships Engineering team, a critical part of Fanatics Core, you will own the systems and platforms that bring new operating companies and external partners into the Fanatics ONE ecosystem, spanning identity provider integrations, loyalty program onboarding, account linking, and the infrastructure that makes it fast and reliable to connect partners to our platform. This is a staff-level role: you will be a technical leader and hands-on builder. You'll drive architecture and design decisions, set engineering standards, and work across the full stack to deliver systems that are reliable, scalable, and built to grow with an expanding partner ecosystem. Here's how to pick the right one and stand out in your application.

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
