The Keeper is responsible for daily animal care tasks, including feeding, watering, monitoring health and behavior, and reporting any concerns to veterinary staff. The role includes cleaning and maintaining animal enclosures, ensuring proper hygiene, and following safety and biosecurity procedures. The Keeper assists with basic handling during examinations, supports routine treatments as directed, and helps maintain accurate records of animal care activities. The position requires working as part of a team, following established protocols, and contributing to a calm, organized, and humane environment for all animals at the institute.QualificationsAbility to perform daily animal care tasks, including feeding, cleaning, and safe handling of animals.Basic knowledge of animal health, welfare, and behavior, or willingness to learn under supervision.Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions and care protocols.Physical ability to perform manual work, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate weights safely.Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and commitment to humane treatment of animals.Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with veterinary and support staff.Prior experience in animal care, farming, or a related setting is an advantage but not required.Basic literacy and record-keeping skills; vocational training in animal care or veterinary assistance is a plus. #J-*-Ljbffr
