Estamos en la búsqueda de un Data Engineer para el área Planeamiento, Control de Gestión e Inteligencia de Negocios, responsable de diseñar, integrar y mantener nuestra arquitectura analítica, asegurando la \"Única Fuente de Verdad\" corporativa. Tu principal misión: Diseñar y mantener la arquitectura analítica y los pipelines de datos de la empresa, garantizando la integración, calidad, disponibilidad y trazabilidad de la información proveniente de SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite CRM y otras fuentes clave. ¿Cuáles serán tus principales retos? Diseñar y mantener procesos ETL/ELT y pipelines automatizados para integrar información de SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite y otras fuentes corporativas. Construir y optimizar Data Marts/Data Warehouse para ventas, compras, inventarios, clientes, proveedores, finanzas y operaciones. Modelar, limpiar y estructurar datasets orientados a Power BI, Forecast, S&OP y analítica gerencial. Implementar controles de calidad, reconciliación, trazabilidad y monitoreo de datos, detectando inconsistencias entre sistemas. Desarrollar y optimizar consultas SQL, vistas, APIs y otros mecanismos de integración evitando afectar la operación transaccional del ERP. Documentar tablas, relaciones, campos, transformaciones, interfaces, procesos ETL y reglas técnicas. Coordinar con TI accesos, seguridad, gateways, credenciales y lineamientos de infraestructura. Brindar soporte técnico al Planner y Controller para asegurar datasets confiables, oportunos y correctamente actualizados. ¿Qué buscamos en ti? Formación: Bachiller en Ingeniería de Sistemas, Software, Informática o carreras afines (Deseable especialización en Data Engineering, BI o Cloud). Experiencia: Mínimo 2 años de experiencia específica en Data Engineering, BI Backend, ETL o integración de sistemas. Conocimientos clave: SQL Avanzado, Python, ETL/ELT y APIs REST. Modelamiento relacional/dimensional y Data Warehouse. Manejo de bases de datos (SQL Server / HANA) y Power BI Service/Gateway. Manejo/integración de ERP/CRM (SAP Business One / Oracle NetSuite) y uso de Git. Inglés técnico intermedio. Competencias: Pensamiento lógico, solución de problemas, rigurosidad, orientación a la calidad de datos y comunicación efectiva con el negocio. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
