Conocimientos avanzados en virtualización: VMware vSphere, Hyper‐V u otras plataformas. Experiencia en almacenamiento SAN/NAS, respaldos y recuperación ante desastres. Conocimiento en infraestructura multicloud: Azure, AWS, GCP u otros. Conocimientos de seguridad aplicada a infraestructura: hardening, gestión de parches, vulnerabilidades, identidades y accesos. Experiencia en monitoreo y observabilidad: Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk u otros. Conocimientos básicos en bases de datos: SQL Server, PostgreSQL o MySQL. Manejo de scripting y automatización: PowerShell, Bash y nociones de IaC. Funciones: Administrar servidores Windows y Linux, asegurando disponibilidad, seguridad y cumplimiento de estándares. Gestionar plataformas de virtualización, capacity planning y performance tuning. Administrar soluciones de almacenamiento, respaldos y recuperación ante desastres. Administrar y optimizar infraestructura multicloud, incluyendo recursos, identidades, seguridad y control de costos. Operar herramientas de monitoreo, observabilidad y ticketing. Resolver incidentes complejos, realizar análisis de causa raíz y proponer planes de mejora. Coordinar con equipos internos, proveedores y áreas de negocio. Mantener documentación técnica, inventarios, estándares y procedimientos actualizados. Before you apply, map the geography. The top five countries by volume are BR, CO, CL, PE, and AR. Check whether the role you want exists in your region or whether you need to look across borders. Some positions may offer remote work; others won't say until you ask.
When you interview, expect questions about your process. Hiring managers for analista roles almost always ask: 'Walk me through how you'd approach a problem you've never seen before.' They want to hear your method, not just your answer. Show them you think systematically, that you ask clarifying questions, and that you break complex work into steps.
