Operations Superintendent

We are seeking an Operations Superintendent for one of our clients operating a large-scale industrial processing facility in the Western United States. Our client is an established, yet rapidly evolving organization focused on advanced materials production. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing complex industrial processing operations, driving operational performance, developing frontline teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production areas. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day operations across multiple processing and production areas Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors, operators, and support personnel Partner with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to improve reliability and production performance Monitor key operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence Support startup, commissioning, and expansion activities for new processes and equipment Develop and maintain operating procedures, standards, and best practices Assist with workforce planning, resource allocation, and succession development Maintain a visible presence in the operation and provide leadership during production challenges Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial operations, or other complex production environments 5+ years of leadership experience in a supervisory, operations management, or superintendent role Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve operational performance, and drive accountability Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision‐making skills Experience working in highly regulated, safety‐focused industrial environments Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field preferred Experience supporting plant expansions, new facility startups, or major capital projects is a plus This is an opportunity to join an organization experiencing significant growth and transformation, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact while building a long-term career in advanced industrial operations #J-*-Ljbffr
