As part of the Corporate Business Development Team, the Business Strategy Lead evaluates and manages strategic business development opportunities across Spanish-speaking Latin America, driving sustainable growth aligned with Moffatt & Nichol's corporate objectives. This role builds and strengthens long-term relationships with clients, strategic partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders while working collaboratively with local leadership teams in Colombia, Chile, Panama, and other regional offices. They identify market trends, client investment strategies, and competitive positioning to develop growth initiatives that leverage the firm's regional and global capabilities. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains current client relationships and identifies areas for potential new clients Contacts potential clients to meet with and establish a business relationship Develop new sales avenues and improves sales through various strategic methods Researches the latest in the business industry and creates new opportunities to expand business Collaborates with engineering sales and design teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals Develops and executes business development strategies aligned with Moffatt & Nichol's corporate growth objectives for our Spanish-speaking Latin America offices Builds, strengthens, and maintains executive-level relationships with key clients, strategic partners, industry associations, and government stakeholders Collaborates closely with local leadership and technical teams in Colombia, Chile, Panama, and other regional offices to identify opportunities and maximize regional collaboration Fosters a collaborative environment among regional offices, ensuring effective communication, knowledge sharing, and alignment of business development efforts Other Duties: Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, business, or related degree; required 8+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering Consulting industry in Latin America; required Strong understanding of Port/Maritime engineering services as well as competition in the Latin American industry; required Availability and willingness to travel; required Spoken business level English; required Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST * Working Conditions: This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
