Underwrite and manage profitable small to mid commercial surety accounts, evaluating financial, technical, organizational, and management risks. Analyze financial statements and work-in-progress data, make underwriting decisions, negotiate accounts, manage portfolio profitability and retention, and build relationships with agents, brokers, and customers. Identify cross-selling opportunities, resolve underwriting and workflow issues, support business continuity assessments, coordinate complex risk matters, and mentor junior staff.
