About You: You're a go-getter with mad juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment You enjoy doing purpose-led and meaningful work You have a strong thirst for knowledge and are driven to find solutions that don't exist yet You are comfortable with ambiguity and extremely resourceful (in your past life, you could've been a detective) You always find a way to get things done without sacrificing the quality of your work, integrity, and values No task is off limits for you You are humble and prioritize the success of the team over your own with an eagerness to help those around you You don't shy away from challenges and can bounce back from setbacks What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role: Lead the sales management function for the Bank’s wealth and insurance businesses, driving revenue growth, sales productivity, advisory excellence, and frontline performance management Develop and execute annual wealth and insurance sales strategies aligned with the Bank’s business objectives, including revenue, AUM, fee income, insurance premium, and customer growth targets Identify growth opportunities across investment, insurance, advisory, and external partnerships to tap into affluent customer segments, increase share of wallet, and deepen customer relationships Build a high-performing sales team from the ground up in a structured and phased approach, establishing sales KPIs, target frameworks, incentive frameworks, and performance management routines Track business performance through dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting, identify productivity gaps, and implement corrective action plans to improve customer conversion and sales effectiveness Manage sales pipelines across investment funds, robo advisory, stock trading, life insurance, general insurance, and other new products to achieve a balanced revenue mix and product cross-sell targets Drive cross-selling and up-selling strategies, improve customer engagement and portfolio penetration, and partner with product owners and Marketing to optimize lead generation and campaign effectiveness Partner with digital and product teams to improve sales funnel effectiveness through analytics and technology, and support digital advisory and hybrid advisory initiatives What is required and what we’re looking for: University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline HKSI Papers 1 and 4, with IIQE Papers 1, 2, 3, and 5 preferred Relevant SFC and HKMA regulated activity qualifications, with CFP, CFA, or equivalent professional certifications advantageous 12+ years of wealth management, insurance, or retail banking experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior sales leadership roles Strong experience managing wealth and insurance sales teams, with a proven track record in achieving revenue and AUM growth targets Experience in sales management, performance analytics, and incentive programs Sound understanding of HKMA, SFC and IA regulatory requirements Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making capabilities Strong leadership and team development capabilities, with a customer-centric mindset and change management capability Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work closely with business partners Perks and Benefits to enrich your experience at WeLab: Learning and development stipend - we value lifelong learning and believe the best way to invest in our employees is to encourage them to continue to learn Wellness and happiness – Numerous activities to let you focus on your physical and mental wellbeing.
