By utilizing technologies, we ensure that our merchants, shoppers, and customers receive faster and more efficient service every day. The Government Relations Officer serves as the primary liaison between Toters and government entities, facilitating the coordination and processing of all governmental procedures and regulatory documentation. The GRO is responsible for understanding all government requirements to ensure Toters remains in full compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: • Coordinate with management on matters involving the Ministry of Interior (police), Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor, General Department of Traffic, or other governmental entities and represent the company in related proceedings. • Facilitate the renewal of official company documents, such as trade licenses, chamber of commerce registration, commercial registration (CR), import licenses, municipal licenses, health certificates, and more. • Support the process of obtaining new branch licenses and commercial registrations (CR) for new Toters and Toters Fresh locations, including securing all necessary approvals, licenses, and training. • Issue health certificates for all staff members who are required to have them. • Authenticate documents with relevant ministries and embassies as needed. • Build and ensure good relationships with Government entities and officials at all times. • Stay informed about any updates or modifications to existing laws, rules, regulations, forms, formats, and procedures. Ensure that the Governance and Risk Department and the Operations Business Unit are promptly notified of these changes. • Coordinate the attestation process for all relevant documents. • Complete all required governmental procedures with the relevant authorities and ensure end to end completion of all required processes and transactions. • Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Supervisor, performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience • Strong command of Arabic is essential for this role. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials. • High level of integrity and professionalism.
