How You?ll Make an Impact Drive the complete sales cycle for Decarbonization solutions across South America, from prospecting and opportunity qualification through commercial negotiation and order closure. Develop and grow pipeline for hybrid power plant controllers, Energy Management Systems (EMS), microgrid control solutions, and battery energy storage integration projects. Support commercial activities within the traditional Controls & Digitalization portfolio, including DCS modernization, AVR solutions, control system upgrades, and related services, with a particular focus on the Chilean market. Build and strengthen long-term relationships with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, consultants, industrial customers, and strategic partners across the region. Collaborate with Bid Management, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Execution teams to deliver technically sound, commercially competitive, and compliant proposals. Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, competitor activities, and customer needs while representing Siemens Energy at industry events, technical workshops, and customer meetings. What You Bring Bachelor?s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Mechanical, or related disciplines); business or commercial training is considered an advantage. 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the energy sector, preferably related to decarbonization, renewable energy, digitalization, or energy management solutions. Proven ability to independently manage the full commercial cycle, including prospecting, opportunity development, proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closure. Strong understanding of South American energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and project development dynamics, particularly in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru.
