About the role You will work with both backend and frontend development and take part in building and maintaining production software products. The role includes: • Developing and maintaining backend and frontend applications. • Building reliable, scalable and maintainable software. • Working with modern programming languages and technologies, for example TypeScript, Node.js, Go, Rust or similar technologies depending on the project. • Using modern AI-assisted development tools effectively as part of the software development process, including coding, testing, debugging and documentation. • Participating in technical implementation, testing, deployment and continuous improvement. • Taking ownership of features from development through production. • Collaborating closely with the team to deliver features and technical solutions. Requirements We are looking for someone who has: • Professional experience in software development. • Experience with both backend and frontend development. • Experience with modern software development technologies. • Experience building and maintaining production software products. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day software development. • Good understanding of APIs, databases, testing, version control and general software engineering practices. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a small team. Meritorious It is an advantage if you have experience with: • Cloud services and production deployments. • Designing APIs and backend services. • Modern frontend frameworks. • Startup environments or small engineering teams.
