Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) is a newly established German-Ukrainian defence joint venture between Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics , created under the Build with Ukraine initiative. All-round role with a focus on monthly closing, HGB and ERP For a modern mid-sized production company, we are looking for an experienced, structured and digitally minded professional for our accounting department. In this role, you will take on a central all-round function in day-to-day accounting – from operational postings to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. You will work closely with commercial management, the external tax advisor, as well as the purchasing, warehouse and production departments, and actively contribute to building efficient accounting and ERP processes. Your role in daily operations: Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting, in particular general ledger, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting Operational involvement in accounts payable, including account assignment, reconciliations and execution of payment runs Reconciliation of bank, general ledger and vendor accounts, as well as clarification of open items Preparation and execution of monthly closings, including provisions and accruals Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB in collaboration with the tax advisor Preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings Support in liquidity planning, reporting and internal analyses Further development of accounting processes within the ERP system Main point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks and internal departments What you bring: Completed commercial training, e.g. as a tax clerk, industrial clerk or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally as a Senior Financial Accountant, Sole Accountant or Balance Sheet Accountant Solid knowledge of accounting in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and experience with monthly closings Confident handling of VAT-related topics in daily operations Willingness to contribute both operationally and to further develop processes Experience working with ERP systems Strong Excel skills and high digital affinity Structured, accurate and independent way of working Understanding of operational processes in purchasing, warehouse, production and goods receipt Very good German and English skills Soft Skills & Attributes: Strong sense of responsibility and high attention to detail Ability to work in a focused and precise manner Resilience and reliability in a fast-paced production environment Strong self-organization and the ability to follow structured processes Ability to link financial data with operational workflows Proactive identification of issues and potential improvements Confident interaction with internal stakeholders and external service providers What we offer: A responsible key role in a growing production company Broad range of responsibilities from operational accounting to monthly closing Opportunity to shape and optimize accounting and ERP processes Close collaboration with commercial management and tax advisors Short decision-making paths and a modern, digital work environment Attractive compensation in line with experience and qualifications Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
