Sr. Support Engineer, QAD Progress DBA is to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission- critical components as part of our global Services support team Database Management: understand how to install, configure, and maintain Progress Open Edge databases Environment Management: experience with YAB (Yet Another Build) to manage QAD environments, ensuring seamless deployments and consistency across Dev, Test, and Production. Server Maintenance: experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) or Unix (AIX) servers hosting the Progress database ecosystem.Scripting: analyze and debug Shell, Python, or Perl scripts to automate routine system tasks and monitoring alerts.Security: understand user permissions, SSH keys, and OS-level security patches to protect ERP data.· Storage Management: experience with managing disk space, logical volumes (LVM), and file system health.
