Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Come work at Amazon! As a Hardware Engineer, you will be a part of the team of experts working on the development of advanced Customer Terminal products. You will own or contribute to the following: Design high-speed digital and/or RF circuits in collaboration with various teams Design and optimization of different blocks of electronics sub-systems Schematic capture and lead PCB layout design and reviews Design DC/DC power supplies and Point of Load Support flow-down requirement definitions and generate test plans/procedures Board bring-up and perform test campaigns of modules and subsystems Support design automated test systems, test fixtures and factory test Support the transition of the designs to mass production Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
