Financial Manager

A well-established company based in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Financial Manager (CA) (SA) Minimum Requirements: CA(SA) – Chartered Accountant qualification is essential. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance management position. Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential. Previous experience working with SYSPRO ERP will be highly advantageous. Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred, with chemical manufacturing experience being an advantage. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and statutory requirements. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash-flow management and financial controls. Sound knowledge of South African tax and statutory compliance requirements. Proven experience managing, mentoring and developing a finance team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full financial management function of the business. Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets and forecasts. Manage cash flow, cost controls and financial planning processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements. Provide commercial insights and financial guidance to support business decisions. Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes. Lead, support and develop the finance team. Work closely with operational and non-financial stakeholders to drive business performance.
