ENVIRONMENT: A medical Institution is looking for a Payroll Operations Manager to manage relevant remuneration and payroll systems and processes for the group. DUTIES: Manage the payroll system processes for MCSA Manage relevant remuneration processes for MCSA Accept ownership and manage the Success Factors System Coordinate relevant tax administration processes Manage and control department budgets / finances Initiate and manage relevant departmental projects Lead and manage the people in the Payroll Operations Team REQUIREMENTS: Required Education: Essential Education Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Financial / Commerce) Desired Education Post-graduate degree in financial field Required Experience: Essential Minimum Experience 7 - 10 years’ experience in a similar role; at least 5 years managerial experience Desired Experience Experience in a payroll environment, within a large compliment of staff Required Job Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of the full monthly payroll process Understanding of HR Finance and relevant HR systems Knowledge of statutory and non-statutory payroll legislation Computer literacy: Excel Understanding of Payroll Operations Manager ration and employee benefits administration Payroll systems administration and SuccessFactors system knowledge Payroll governance, audit and risk management principles Financial reconciliation and payroll control principles Project management and continuous improvement capability Leadership and people management capability Stakeholder relationship management and communication skills Knowledge of POPIA and payroll data confidentiality requirements Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Desired Skills: Payroll Operations Manager
