We are seeking an Intermediate Azure Integration Developer (.NET) for a remote contract role (6-12 months) with team, supporting a significant new client project. Approximate start is in 4-6 weeks, subject to client environment readiness and project mobilisation. This is a delivery-focused position centred on building new Azure-based integration capabilities and modernising existing solutions—not maintenance or support. The consultant will primarily develop APIs and integrations within the client’s Azure ecosystem, while potentially contributing to other integration work as needed. The role suits someone who can work independently, collaborate with senior developers and client stakeholders, and take ownership of delivery outcomes with minimal supervision. Duties Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs Build and maintain Azure-based API and integration solutions Develop Azure Function Apps and related integration components Work with Azure Service Bus and messaging patterns Collaborate with senior developers on solution implementation Participate in client-facing project discussions where required Build, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code deployment approaches Work with SQL Server databases and related data integration requirements Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions aligned to team standards and client Requirements 4+ years development and development ownership experience. Strong C# and modern .NET (including .NET Core or later) RESTful API development and experience with Webhooks Authentication and authorisation concepts including JWT token implementation and consumption Working knowledge of Azure Functions / Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Integration Services, Azure API Management and the broader Azure platform Microsoft SQL Server experience including querying, development and stored procedure exposure Practical CI/CD implementation experience including building, using and troubleshooting deployment pipelines Azure DevOps or transferable experience with a comparable CI/CD platform Understanding of Infrastructure as Code Experience with Bicep is advantageous Desired Skills: .Net C# Azure DevOps Webhooks CICD Desired Qualification Level: Diploma About The Employer:
