A well-established group representing premium South African coffee brands is seeking an enthusiastic, driven and professional Sales Executive to join its Sales Team in Cape Town. This is a true hunter sales role, focused on actively creating new business rather than managing an existing portfolio or relying on inbound leads. The successful candidate will prospect, cold call, visit potential customers and open new wholesale accounts across the group's portfolio of premium coffee brands. Working closely with the Head of Sales, the Sales Executive will play an important role in expanding the company's wholesale footprint and developing long-term customer relationships. Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue new wholesale business opportunities. Conduct regular cold calling, prospecting, customer visits and business development activities. Introduce prospective customers to the company's portfolio of premium coffee brands. Deliver product samples and arrange coffee/product demonstrations. Generate, qualify and convert new sales opportunities. Build and maintain a strong and active sales pipeline. Record customer interactions, leads and opportunities accurately on the CRM system. Work closely with the Head of Sales to convert qualified prospects into long-term customers. Represent the company and its brands professionally in the market. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, networking events and industry functions. Travel nationally and potentially internationally as required. Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in sales or business development. Proven ability and willingness to actively prospect and generate new business. Coffee industry experience is highly advantageous. Valid South African driver's licence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and CRM systems. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Professional appearance and approach. Excellent organisation and time-management skills. Fluent in English; additional languages would be advantageous. Willing and able to travel extensively.
