Our client is looking for a Senior Privacy Engineer to develop and implement privacy-enhancing technologies that protect sensitive information while enabling enterprise data products and advanced analytics. This role offers the opportunity to shape privacy-by-design practices across modern cloud and data platforms. Key Responsibilities Design and implement privacy-enhancing technologies across enterprise data platforms. Apply techniques such as k-anonymity, l-diversity, t-closeness, and differential privacy. Support privacy-by-design initiatives throughout the development lifecycle. Develop data protection controls for sensitive information. Work closely with engineering, governance, and compliance teams. Ensure solutions align with applicable privacy regulations and organisational policies. Contribute to data lineage, access control, and audit readiness. Produce technical documentation and privacy implementation guidelines. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related discipline. 10+ years' experience in data privacy, security, or information governance. Strong understanding of privacy engineering principles. Experience implementing privacy controls in enterprise environments. Knowledge of cloud platforms, data architecture, and secure software development. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Advantageous Experience with PETs in large-scale data environments. Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar. Experience supporting regulated industries. Knowledge of enterprise governance frameworks. Personal Attributes Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities. Collaborative and solution-focused.
