An innovative technology company that builds real-time 3D interactive training, digital twin, and simulation solutions for industrial environments is seeking a Senior Game / Simulation Developer to design, build, and maintain real-time 3D applications and technical tools. Responsibilities: Development & Architecture: Build real-time 3D applications, physics-based logic, movement systems, and simulation features while contributing to technical architecture and estimation. Hardware & Systems Integration: Integrate third-party and in-house hardware (microcontrollers, sensors, PLCs) with software applications. Code Quality & Maintenance: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize workflows, and maintain clean, reliable, and maintainable code bases. Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior developers through code reviews, practical mentoring, and technical problem-solving. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with artists, designers, engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions. Minimum Requirements: Software Development Experience: Proven track record in a production environment (real-time 3D, games, simulations, or engineering tools). Technical & Math Foundations: Strong proficiency in 3D mathematics (vectors, transforms, coordinate spaces, physics) and solid problem-solving skills. Programming Proficiency: Strong background in C#, C++, GDScript, or a similar object-oriented language, with the ability to quickly adapt to new engines/codebases. Software Engineering Practices: Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, source control, profiling, and debugging. Communication & Autonomy: Ability to work independently, interpret complex documentation, and articulate technical concepts to both peers and junior team members. Beneficial Skills Experience with Godot (highly advantageous), Unity, or Unreal Engine. Background in digital twins , industrial training applications, or simulation logic. Experience with hardware integration (serial communications, sensors, PLCs, microcontrollers). Knowledge of custom editor tool creation , 3D asset pipelines, and runtime performance optimization. Familiarity with APIs, databases , networked applications, or technical team leadership.
