Our client, a well-established supplier of premium laboratory equipment, scientific instrumentation and consumables, is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Representative to drive business growth across the Life Sciences sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional who understands laboratory environments and enjoys working with researchers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology companies and industrial laboratories. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow your assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships. Promote a portfolio of advanced laboratory instrumentation, scientific equipment, reagents, diagnostics and consumables. Consult with customers to understand their research and laboratory requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions. Manage and grow strategic key accounts through long-term relationship building and regular customer engagement. Drive the complete sales process from prospecting and quotations through to negotiations, closing and after-sales support. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using the company's CRM system. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and customer training where required. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies within the Life Sciences market. Work closely with Product Managers, Application Specialists, Marketing and Technical Support teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions. Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualification in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology or a related Life Sciences discipline. Minimum 8 years' successful technical sales experience within the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Laboratory Equipment or Scientific Instrumentation industries. Proven track record in selling capital equipment, laboratory instrumentation, consumables or integrated scientific solutions. Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, research methodologies and scientific applications. Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with decision-makers across multiple levels. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Valid driver's licence with the willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
