Our client is looking for a driven Technical Sales Representative to represent the brand in the field. In this role, you won't be pushing off-the-shelf items-you'll be conducting hands-on, technical on-site consultations to diagnose customer needs and design custom aluminium and security solutions. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Consultative On-Site Sales: Conduct tailored on-site assessments for homeowners, property managers, and construction clients, delivering tailored product recommendations. Business Development & Pipeline Growth: Actively prospect new residential and commercial accounts while expanding revenue streams within the existing client network. Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with homeowners, architects, and contractors, ensuring the company remains their vendor of choice. Technical Problem Solving: Evaluate architectural layouts on-site to recommend optimal conversion designs (converting timber/steel to modern low-maintenance aluminium). Deal Execution & Service Excellence: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle-from initial consultation and site measurement to quoting and post-installation client check-ins. Commercial Administration: Keep pipeline data up to date, maintain accurate sales reports, and manage client records professionally. What We're Looking For (Requirements) Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven sales track record in the construction, building materials, architectural products, or industrial sector. Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential/commercial building products (doors, windows, patio enclosures, security barriers, or glazing systems). Education: Grade 12 (Matric) required; a Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Construction Management is a distinct advantage. Mobility: Valid, unendorsed South African driver's license and your own reliable vehicle (essential). Flexibility: Willingness to travel regionally for country trips and adapt to flexible working hours when required by client project timelines. Mindset: Professional, self-motivated, customer-obsessed, and skilled at converting complex client needs into closed deals.
