Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced marketing agency based in Umhlanga This newly created position is ideal for a client-focused professional with a strong agency background who thrives on building lasting client relationships, leading projects, and identifying opportunities for account growth. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clients while providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure exceptional service delivery The role requires occasional travel to client sites both locally and nationally Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients Deliver exceptional client service and ensure consistently high levels of client satisfaction Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to brief Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic planning sessions Brief and coordinate internal creative, strategy, production, and digital teams Monitor project timelines, budgets, and profitability Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts and contribute to new business initiatives Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members where required Collaborate with senior management to ensure operational excellence and successful project delivery Travel to client sites locally and nationally as business requirements dictate Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Minimum of 7 years' experience in an advertising, branding, marketing, or creative agency environment Proven experience managing multiple client accounts across a diverse portfolio Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and timelines Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel Skills and Competencies Strong agency background with an excellent understanding of agency operations Exceptional client relationship management and customer service skills Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Highly organised with strong project management capabilities Commercially astute with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Proactive, solutions-driven, and results-oriented What's on Offer Opportunity to join a growing, established agency Newly created role with excellent career growth potential Collaborative, creative, and high-performing team environment Desired Skills: Project Management Marketing creative studio
